After twenty-five years of working in the corporate world, Brad finally decided to follow his dream by spearheading the opening of Foundry Baseball. Brad’s passion for baseball started at a young age. He was born and raised in Redwood City and spent his entire youth playing baseball. As a sophomore he was a member of the St. Francis Lancer Baseball team that won the 1983 CCS Baseball Championship and was Team Captain of the 1985 Lancer squad. After high school, he played one year for Menlo College and was set to play the following year at the University of Arizona but “Tommy John” Surgery cut his dream of a career in baseball short. To insure that the upcoming talent on the Peninsula doesn’t fall short of their dreams, Brad’s mission is to provide the tools for kids of all ages to follow their dreams of playing baseball not only in high school and college, but beyond. Teaching the proper fundamentals, mechanics, conditioning, and agility; Foundry Baseball aims to make players “Greater for Later”.
